Programs for Flourishing Lives
Programs for Flourishing Lives surround young people with coaching, advising, and access to resources necessary to explore their career interests, all while fostering connection to one another.
From college visits to mentorship programs, we support our participants through high school, college, and into their careers.

Senior Support
12th grade
High school seniors (and juniors starting in January) meet at Study Hall—focused sessions for writing essays, completing applications, and sharing progress with peers. Students also receive one-on-one support from Live Oak staff to navigate every step of their college journey.
Mentorship Program
9th–11th grade
High schoolers are connected with Live Oak coaches and alumni for guidance and support as they navigate high school's celebrations and challenges. Through monthly meetings, mentees strengthen skills like responsibility, communication, and follow-through—essentials for college and career success.
Post-Secondary Support
College freshmen
College freshmen thrive through monthly one-on-one check-ins to set wellness and academic goals. Cohort gatherings offer space to celebrate wins, share advice, and build community. Participants receive a monthly stipend for their engagement and commitment.
ACT Tutoring
11th–12th grade
Students are paired with dedicated tutors for individualized ACT prep. Through ten one-on-one or small group sessions, they build test-taking strategies and strengthen academic skills. Participants who complete the program receive an attendance stipend.
Refundable deposit required; return dependent on attendance.
Live Oak Young Adults (LOYA)
Alumni and young adults
LOYA brings together alumni and young adults for monthly events focused on connection, career advancement, and community. Through shared experiences, participants navigate life after camp, lean on each other for guidance, and build lasting relationships.
